RASHES

Rashes can be quite mysterious. They show up on our children and ourselves for seemingly no reason at all. Perhaps our children have an allergy to food, perhaps they were messing with some Poison Ivy. Who knows for sure?
TYPES OF RASHES
There are many types of rashes. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to pinpoint a particular presentation with any specific underlying cause. There are some patterns that give us a pretty good idea of what is going on. At the same time keep in mind that there are times multiple causes or infections going on that must each be treated separately.
WHITE SCALES AND KNEES OR ELBOWS
The underlying cause here is most likely a condition called Psoriatic Arthritis. This presentation is Psoriasis. Expect there to be pain in the hips, fingers, and digestive issues (gas, bloating, constipation). I typically give patients Celery Seed for this condition.
RASH ON THE BUTTOCKS OR PRIVATE AREA
Typically, I found that the underlying condition is a Candida infection. With Applied Kinnesiology you can avoid expensive tests and figure out exactly what strain of Candida is at fault and what anti-microbial is needed to fix it. Golden Thread is a good herb to use.
RAISED LINES IN THE SKIN
If there are raised elongated rashes that itch at nighttime I might suspect a parasitic infection. An herb combination of Black Walnut and Wormwood does a decent job for many parasitic infections.
