DEMENTIA

It is heartbreaking to see the ones you love slip into dementia. They seem to be slipping into a lonely world that you are cut off from. And the sufferer seems to become a hollow shadow of their former selves.

UNDERLYING PROBLEMS

One of the more significant underlying issues with dementia is blood sugar problems. When the brain is starved for glucose then inflammation begins to arise. As the brain ceases to acquire nutrition and energy it needs to function the immune system also begins to attack the brain tissue. With all these assaults going on the brain swells and shrinks in size. The ability for the brain to function normally decreases.

TREATING DIMENTIA

The first thing I do with patient’s suffering from dementia is to reverse the blood sugar mishandling issues. This usually calls for Pancreatrophin PMG and Zinc. Next, I put patients on Neurotrophin PMG and Neuroplex (for the brain itself). I put patients on high doses of Moringa powder (2Tb twice a day), and I increase their vitamin B’s. This aids the nervous system.

MELLATONIN

It has been shown that that with Dementia the Luteinizing hormone increases, which then decreases progesterone. The Luteinizing hormone can be balanced with high therapeutic doses of Melatonin (between 75 and 125mg). This not only reduces damage from oxidation in the brain but assists with sleep. As sleep increases/normalizes then oxidative stress and neuronal damage also decreases.
